Anytime the sun comes out in Houston we instantly think of our home away from home on the island. It just so happens that there are five homes we were just itching to show off anyway, so Galveston Top Producer Robert Zahn decided he would hold an open house of historic proportions to show them off this weekend. Join us tomorrow for what we’re quite simply calling, “The Three Hour Tour.” Kind of weird, but those who know island life know that it’s…well, kind of weird. And that’s exactly what we love about it.
These homes represent our favorite Galveston. With an average age of 116, these updated homes have a pure coastal architectural pedigree in various delightful idioms…from Victorian to row house. All in the walkable East End, where you’re as close to East Beach as you are to the rich cultural experience of Downtown Galveston.
Stop by Sunday, March 24 from 1 to 4 PM to see these centenarian stand-outs for yourself. If you’re coming from the mainland, it will definitely be worth the trip. In fact, if you visit all five homes (they’re verrrry close to one another), you’ll be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card to Fish Company Taco, one of the tastiest little taco joints this side of the causeway.
Here’s a sneak peek at the homes and join the event on Facebook:
